Clio MK1 1996 - Lowering

Hi All,

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post, but I am not great with this forum stuff yet.

I'm wondering if anyone will be able to help me, I want to lower my Clio MK 1, I understand that its on a Torsion Bar at the back, I have a mechanic who normally does work for me but in the case he said "You will not get the bars out, leave it well alone" he said that it will be hard to do because of the age an corrosion.

Is there anyone on here that would suggest somewhere local (Cambridgeshire) or is there anyone on here that could actually do it for me?

Might be handier to swap it out for a 16v rear beam.

Agreed, a 16v rear beam is definitely the way to go. Try and get 16v front struts too.
