clio door lock

Got a mk2 clio 99t reg 1.2rt 8v and the drivers door lock dosent work.when you turn the key there is no resistance from the lock and the key just spins.to lock and unlock we have to use the pass door and press the c/locking button inside.:cry:had a brief look at this by taking off the door card and there seems to be a white plastic arm that goes between two black plastic arms that looks like it should move when you turn the key.Nothing happens,ive tried spraying wd40 on,no joy...any ideas please??cheers!!

It's just popped off the little ball joint on the arm on the end of the lock, surely?
