Car won't start....

It ticks over fine when you turn the key keep but won't just spark into life as you'd expect. I'm guessing the battery isn't the problem then but what else could it be?

Only thing I can guess right now is my g/f flooded when she went to start it before mine.

Otherwise, fuel pumps etc? How do I tell if it's these?

Every now and again, my immobiliser light keeps flashing real fast and that stops it from starting. If I just take the key out and put it back in again it sorts it out though.

Ahhh.. do you mean the one on the centre of the dash? Mine was doing that but I tried taking the key out and locking it etc but it still wouldn't start.

The one in the middle of the dash - between the two clocks (speedo and rev counter). If it's still flashing dead fast, turn the key back to off then back on a few times.

Cool, i'll try that tonight see if it works. I did notice they were flashing the whole time it wouldn't start so that may well be it.

No luck. The immob light is flashing pretty fast so i'm guessing it's an immobiliser problem?

It won't start at all and i'm going to get ticketed soon...

Problem solved.

It was the immobiliser and it was because when I bought the car the keys had one key with the remote looking blipper on without the actual key, and one normal key minus the blipper to start the car. I forgot to mention as I thought it was irrelevant that I took the key and fitted it to the blipper not thinking about the immobiliser. I tried adding the chip to the blipper but that still didn't work to I went back to the 2 keys as before and now it all works again. Thank god for that.
