Well it's not quite the same...
...it's on a MoTeC screen mounted in that location.

You should be able to do that on any car right? On my old focus I had to hold in the mileage reset button before turning on the ignition, then keep it held whist firing itup, used to get all sort of options. My speedo working so I used that for speed instead.
