Been looking through my folder of paperwork to check on the last Cambelt change ,it was done in July 2009 at 54,000 miles ,it's now done 61,000 miles I can't remember if it's due yet due to time or not any help thanks [smilie=thanks.gif]
Time based intervals are every 5 years so depends on the year of your car ...
If it was a 2002 then it would be due this year for its second change. If it was done in 2009 then that might suggest it is a 2004 (unlikely for a Mk 1) or was left late or it has had 2 changes already and now needs a third - based on time. If intervals are not rigidly followed it's harder to keep track of things and easier to go out of step with the recommendations ... not that you have to follow them though ...
Thanks mate ,that's good news ,because I haven't got the funds to get it done at this time any way ,so the last owner taking a chance paid of for me in the long run ,result :approve:
