Hi All
My 2003 is in the year for its second cambelt change and I am toying with the idea of getting a friend of mine who is a very experienced Porsche sprecialist and works on my Boxster to do the job. He may not be cheaper but he is very meticulous and it would also mean there would be a lot more flexibility than with a main dealer to get a couple of other bits looked at whilst the engine is out. He has a workshop with ramp.
A couple of questions...
Do you think that this is a job that an experinced mechanic but with no Clio V6 knowledge could do successfully?
Is there a manual or step by step Renault instructions on how to drop the engine out and replace the belt, water pump etc?
I did look in the knowledge section and did a search and there is a reference to a manual but I can't find it.
Cheers.
David.
