Visited them on Saturday for a MOT and thought I'd post my comments on here, although I seem to be the only vee owner in the area.
Firstly asked whether they'd dealt with one before and they confidently said yes, turns out they'd haven't dealt with one on site but their Cheltenham branch. I was a little miffed as I didn't want this to be a trial and error / learning exercise for someone else. Also the car had been in storage since March so I just wanted a thumbs up from someone in the know.
During the test the mechanic kept sitting and leaning against the outside door which I wasn't impressed about considering how dirty he was, which leads onto my desk point about the condition the car was left in. The door panel had dirty knee / kick marks where he'd been getting in and out of the car along with black hand prints around the car from his grubby fingers.
This was my first visit to a Renault dealer and I got the underlying impression they were out to make some money on me, stating certain number plate bulbs had gone although the obviously were working (I was sat in the car whilst it was up in the air, so when it was lowered I made the point in checking) along with other points.
The general staff were very nice and keen but so is the general public when they see the Vee.
A little bit disappoint with them and I think I'll make some enquiries about a Renault in Bristol for my next visit.
