Nowhere near mate, especially the bit near the flange where it flares out. Not much over 2" there I bet, and 2.5 the rest of it.

Dave - go and compare it to yours - I think you'll find that it will be 3" after the step down on the back of the turbo - its quite clearly 3" under the car, especially where it goes under the axle and is virtually resting on the deck!!!

The exhaust and the turbo are mine, i'm picking them up on friday lunch time. Doesn't mater if its 2.5 or 3 inch its beter than the power flow **** thats on mine(suposedly stainless steel but rusty on every weld like all powerflow systems)

Yes it is a 3" system from where it steps up from the turbo to the back
