Hello
Can anyone help to save me digging out my owners manual on where the brake light fuse is? as just checked all lights and all are working except all 3brake lights. Havent tested the switch electrically yet but it is actuating.
Thanks
Brad
Quick update I tested and there's 14v at switch. tested continuity across switch and working ok but no volts at rear light clusters.
1. Has anyone got a wiring diagram they could upload please?
2. Why is it the switch has only 2 pins were there is the capability for a 4 pin switch to use the backup wires?
Hopefully one of you knowledgable people will be able to help as I'm itching to get an MOT so that I can enjoy driving in this weather [smilie=thanks.gif]
Hi Brad.. No idea where the fuse is personally, and able to look through the knowledge base at the mo. however, a process of elimination going through the fuses behind the near side front light and then the fuses hidden behind the carpet under the jack box would be where I'd be looking. Hope you find it fella.
Thanks.
I didn't realise that there were fuses behind the jack box i've checked the ones in the passanger side dash and they seem ok.
I'll have a look there after work and i'm going to try and short the plug accross just incase the switch is breaking down under load.
Thanks for all the help. Been back out tonight and linked the switch out and lights work meaning the swith is braking down under load.any ideas on how much a new switch is and if is a v6 only fit ment?
