Brake / Clutch Fluid Reservoir Too Fat

Rossington

New Member
As a few already know, Micks got another V6 which im looking after for him and he also has a spare storage tub per the other thread we've discussed.
I suggested we put the tub under the bonnet of his new one, sadly it doesnt fit because of the brake / clutch fluid reservoir :

As you can see form the following shots when compared to mine, the tanks the complete wrong shape/size.

All the pics i see on google and this site show a smaller round tank like mine however the phase one manual we have on the site shows it as what Mick has :

I've checked the other Mk2 clio's and theyre not even close so the V6 one must be specific.
I've also checked the big parts thread we have and it doesn't seem to list this tank.

Stuck.

602011069 front liner for very early Ph1s according to the parts system. car before 020110.

So we can see the reservoir in cars from number 020110 onwards have a round type.

Thanks James, weird how the tubs the same then as it wont fit at all.
Can only assume its just the positioning in the car thats off.
