just a quick Q?

Are the bonnets on the v6 plastic?

No, aluminium I believe. Which dents very easily if you try to push it closed.

Wish it was aluminum ... the light weight bonnet on my 172 Mk1 was a work of art since you braced yourself for the weight of a normal bonnet and then were amazed just how light it was.

The bonnet on the Vee is the stock steel bonnet from a normal Clio I reckon.

As Karl says it dents very easily ... always drop it to close it!

Correct Andy, best quality French steel.
Scott had some aluminium ones that were made for the pre-production phase ones and were a beautiful job.....don't know if he has any left though.
