bonnet catch

anyone had a letter from renault regarding this issue they say the clio 11's are renowned for the catch failing iv had no probles just wandering if anyone has had this letter
 
Yeah had my letter through about 2.5 years ago.

Maybe worth getting it checked out with Renault anyway, if your a bit concerned :approve: .
 
Not had a letter, but just had it replaced whilst it was at the dealer reacently

Someone I know had the bonnet fly open at 60mph. Caused about £2k of damage and nearly killed him. Get it checked!
 
I was driving a long the other not doing a ton. Got home and noticed the bonnet prised up, not fully fastened. Just imangine....
Got my letter through the other day and am going on Saturday.
 
Mine was done the other week but the dealer gave me know paperwork. I asked them if I needed some for my records and was told, not needed. Is this right?

Sadly the catch is a few months old now, so not 'quite' so new and shiney.. :wink:
