BLACK V6 RAF Marham Trackday

Spotted last Saturday at RAF Marham trackday, R16 CUP
pics;

I was in my track toy, this 205 GTi with 306 GTi-6 engine and gearbox;

all I can say is you are brave taking a Vee on there after the amount of stone chips I have ended up with on the front of my car! It might explain the reason you werent willing to play everytime I got near you! I wanted to see how my 205 would fair agaisnt a Vee but you kept slowing down and letting me past everytime I got near!

Seem to remember you were at another Marham trackday lastyear aswell.

This might sound a strange question, but if you where both on the same trackday, why did you not bother to approach / speak to the owner of the Vee on the day??

Just curious, as I would of had a chat myself.

I was going to but was having too much fun before lunch and I went over later but he had gone home.

You are right about the stone chips. Hence the reason why I was keeping away from the other cars as the stone chipping at Marham on the long straight is really bad. Strange just how many stones there are on a runway [smilie=icon_eek.gif]

I have a Silvia S12 track/drift car, which I used in March at Marham, but had no trailer available to me. My son works for Adrian Flux who were the sponsors, so he came along and had a 30 min' go on the track. This would explain also why the car was not running at full speed as this was the first track day at the age of 18 that he could do!

We had to leave at lunch time as my son was playing for his local football team at 2.30.
