Can't see the point in this unless it's for cosmetic reasons? If that's the case fair enough.

Simon's car is quintessentially over-engineered. The Vee has it's inherent flaws and some of us like to tinker.

You've much to learn young padawan...
: )

Looks great. Will you be adjusting brake pressure bias forward to compensate for larger disc radius/larger pads/larger piston areas blah blah?

I don't need to lean thanks, I know enough ;-)

Nothing wrong with the standard setup if used with decent pads and fluid.

Hence why I asked if it was cosmetic.

What do the cup cars run out of interest?

Hi keir we are looking in to it now
If you're still tinkering, a few Citroen models (xantia etc) had the handbrake operating on the front calipers...probably worth looking at if you haven't already considered it

Looking good!

I have always wondered about having 4 pots at the rear as well as at the front. All cars (that I've seen) that do not have 50:50 weight distribution tend to have bigger brakes up front than at the rear. i.e., a Porsche 911 can have 6 pot up front and 4 pot at the rear. However a Porsche 944 S2 (which has 50:50 weight distribution) has 4 pots all round.

Is this on-purpose? i.e., if you are to upgrade the rear brakes to 4 pots, is it wise to upgrade the fronts to bigger ones too?
