I have been in contact with Mark at Autobrite-direct to see if he could offer us a discount for a group buy on their foam lances and snow foam.

He seems happy to offer something so has asked me to get an idea of what people want and numbers etc.

Could you post if your interested in any of their products so that I can get back to him for prices.

Thanks,
Chris

Yeah, I though that look pretty cool but couldn't quite work it all out.
What would I need? A lance and solution? What's the basic price? Is it attached to a karcher jetwash?

Plugs onto the end of your jetwash (ours uses the Lavor fitting), an inch of the solution in the bottom of the bottle, top it with hot water - foam car :) Leave it to dwell for 10 mins, it breaks down the grime and drags it off the paintwork so you're rubbing hard and moving ground on grit across the paint. Some people say it's just a gimmick, but I think it's worth it just for the fun of foaming your car hehe. And if you're a child, writing your name on the wall *cough*...

I've done quite a lot of research on these and it seems the lances that connect to a pressure washer work really well, and the ones that connect to a hose dont. The thick foam (like shaving foam) sticks to the car for a while and starts to break down the dirt. Then you just rinse it all off. Apparently if the car isnt too dirty to begin with, this method can negate the need to use a wash mitt. If the car is quite dirty then the two bucket method wold still need to be used afterwards BUT there is a lot less risk of scratching the paintwork as most the dirt will have been already removed.

Autobrite-direct have fittings for most different makes of pressure washer so any can be ordered. The snow foam solution is the only other thing you would need.

I cant give a price yet as it will depend on how many people are interested (which doesnt look like many at the moment!)
