The actual rack just over 3 so maybe a bit less when fitted.

Mmm ... standard is 4 turns (a bit less on earlier racks) ... would the internals fit a RHD casing, I wonder ?

I was given it by a mate in France who used to race group deux.I have about 6 or 7 racks that came with the TS I'll check them out to see if there are any of interest.

The early R5s, such as my 1974 TL (see avtar), had a little less than 4 turns lock-to-lock. I think it was my Mum's Y-reg GTL that changed to 4.0 turns L->L, presumably to lighten the steering for normal drivers.

So, I am looking for an early rack for my Gordini Rally Car, if your Gp 2 "3 turn" rack will not convert to RHD!
