Anybody had the mintex brake pads before??

hi. just wanted some feedback if anyone has had the mintex brake pads at all before. Currently shopping around and found a few makes. Any suggestions would be great!!

Quite a few mentions of Mintex pads. Put the word Mintex in the search box top right or read the posts listed below.

I had Mintex pads for a couple of years. Good bite from cold, no real issues. Occasional squeal. IMO better than the Red Stuff pads i have currently.

I've always used Mintex both front and rear and never had any issues at all

Cheers for that guys!! Just read some reviews on them and sound good especially for their price. I'll be doing the brakes as soon as the vee is back from it's cam belt service.

i have used yellow stuff before the mintex, one is for track/street, one is street only
its way better than the minted in terms of stopping power
now the braking feel felt softer compared to the yellow stuff even after vacuumed the brake hoses
but i have no idea how the mintex compares to oem tho

but personally, i will go back with yellow again when i have chance...

Have a word with Alec at Carlton Garages !
He mentioned to me last time I called in that he was out in his V6 and was approached by a guy from AP Racing who had been involved with the design of the brakes for the Clio !
He had gleaned some intresting info !

Yea I've heard about loads of dust.. Im still in two minds tho about them. Not sure now!! Lol.
