Another one bites the dust

As i been down this route this car is a lot worse than it looks, front wheel well out of alinement, Subframe ?,

Roof's gone, shell twist or pillar damage ?,

Back window gone as well, hit or shock breakage or shell twist.

But the problem is still going to be getting the spares, as some stuff is no longer available from Renault, so you have to wait for secondhand bits to turn up, i spent 3 years collecting bits for mine off Ebay and it still cost £14k to do.

With the greatest respect and after talking to 2 breakers salvage companies, there not worth £6K as a breaker, £3K is pushing it.

Engine £1K
Gearbox Phase 2 only £1K

Standard Clio bits almost worthless

Other bits V6 bits, wheels, calipers, subframes, undamged panels will only sell to someone like me rebuilding a car, yes if you sell it all youre make money, but both breakers i spoke to were saying they were strugling to break even, let alone make a profit, they paid £4500 each for there cars.

Most car that need parts are repaired by insurance companies, but i a few years a breaker maybe worth more if the parts continue to be deleted from the Renault parts book.
