Another LY for David's list?

'with the confused and appreciative looks this thing gets on the road'

I'd say its more the former to be honest. These kids make me laugh. Truly an utter waste of time and money!

Agree, all that waste of cash could've got him into a Phase 1 with insurance for a year I'd imagine. Each to their own I suppose though...

Replicas [smilie=icon_aaargh.gif]

I remember as a child getting so sick of seeing fibre glass Cobras that I actually started going off the real thing. If you can't get the real thing, go home!

To be fair, when a group of us see this at FCS the other year and before the stupid roof rack was fitted, we all gave it the thumbs up. Infact if I remember correctly there were even a couple of v6.net ph2 owners wondering where they could get the front splitter it has from. It has been done pretty well in my opinion and with out the roof rack it looks bloody brilliant going down the road.

It was done well. Massive spacers on the wheels to get them on outside of the arches.

Been there with an escort cosworth replica....... What it was like to be young eh!!

Felt sorry for this kid. As he finished this project, pre roof rack days, he was showing it off in the local tesco car park, unfortunately someone had been all the way to worksop to collect LY300 and happened to work at said Tesco! That must have been gutting.

Very nice... if you like that kind of thing! best bit about the photos was the 'Bottle' blonde...not sure if she has some false plastic bits either. Bless :approve:

Ive never understood them things, ok maybe it stops stone chips on the bonnet but all the rest will still chip- the front of the wings, bumper etc all that time they have a black vinyl lump of poo on the bonnet so when its removed the bonnet is in better nick than the wings & bumper..well done and while you were protecting the bonnet your car looked stupid..... can anybody explain why guys do this? ok rant over.......
