Alarm?

My alarm seems to go off now and again when it feels like it, only for about 10-15 secs then stops.
When i unlock the doors, it then beeps at me 4 times?, what is this, do i need to reset it or something?, anyone had this.

the alarm beeps 4 times to let you know that it has gone off cars with loud exhausts set off my alarm on a regular basis its just a bit sensitive. if its going off every day or very often then maybe you do have a problem . alternativley just shoot all the boy racers with their big bor 4s am sure theres plenty of them in bognor.

Had exactly the same problem. Took my 255 to the local renault dealer, they couldn't do anything "it's just something you have to live with" -very helpful.
