Aircon condensor ... advice please

Well I've just been to get the air con serviced and recharged as it was crap from when I bought it, and its crazy hot in the car now....

Apparently its been hit...... so not very happy at all

Anyone any advice on repair/refurb of these items as they've quoted over £500 + VAT for a replacement [smilie=icon_eek.gif]

its quite likely that its the same as another Renault condenser, its just a case of knowing what Renault it is. A lot of the time you mention a part from a V6 and the price shoots up!

Think I heard the Ph2 is same as an Espace??

Id call a few Ren specialists (Scott at SG?) and ask the question

Ian

On the Friday afternoon before Kimbolton we found out that my condenser was completely knackered, it had leaks all over it. We had to get a new one and fit it within a few hours!

I managed to get a brand new one, albeit a pattern part for £90. If you’re interested I can dig out the invoice details and let you know?

Hi Lucy

That would be brilliant, many thanks... Will drop you a pm

An, when I asked them about it, thinking surely its just the same as a regular Clio.... Apparently it isn't .... Hence the outrageous price tag

It's from a Renault Laguna MK3 / Vel Satis and I paid £90 for it from a company called Brighton Radiators based in East Sussex.
Their phone number is 01273 483092.
