Looking to sell my V6 phase 1 for another project its cat c with damage repaired prior to my ownership, what realistic price should I be looking for ? [smilie=icon_exclaim.gif]

The car is Iceburg siliver with dark grey side pods and wheels, interior clean and no rips 46k on clock new disks and rubber and new coils fitted. dammage was to the front bumper as I do belive its not OE. I was going to track the car but feel its to good to strip out and use on track

circa 4500-5k

A straight one with those miles - all being equal is ~ 7-7500 maybe a bit more for a minter

*MIGHT be worth more in parts in the long run!

Agree, it's almost too cheap to sell, I gUarentee you will enjoy the Vee more than the money you will get :)

As above sadly. You may push it into 5-6.5k bracket if its in great nick with good service history.

You may also find at that price you would get interest from the continent. You might even get a slightly better price advertising it direct to the foreign market and saying you will meet them at Dover? Parlez-vous français?

If it was repaired correctly, the best bet is to advertise it to french, belgian, dutch & german enthusiasts.
They don't have our dumb 'CAT' system or the UK obsession with low milage. They're only interested if it's in good condition with a decent service history.
So you'll get a slightly better price (€7.5k +, which is closer to £6k than 5k), but you will have to 'help' them.
Whether that's picking a guy up from the airport so he can see it and or driving it to the ferry etc.
Obviously If it was LHD they'd pay much more.

£5.500 still seems so cheap! Not surprised to see it sell so quickly for that price.. Also £500 - £1k above Mr Murr's for ever low estimates. ;)
