Acquiring the full history of your car

Is this possible?

Booked the Vee in for an A/c Regas at Renault and they said the car visited them in 2005! No according to my history. He told me it was for a recall but all other info was archived!

Can this data be bought/found out from Renault? I'd like it for my history, prior to 2007.

I understood Renault dealers could access centralised records (taking into account any reg number changes) for work done - which is what I did once.
