Acid Yellow

Somebody help me get my head around the original tyres thing?

Tyres are the original and correct Michelin Pilot Sports with matching date stamps and have 3.5mm at the front, and 5mm at the rear.

I make them 11 years old and pretty worn out, likely to be crumbling away?

Being one of only a handful made, I think this is a fair price.

I've got my original tyres still on the original wheels. Obviously I wouldn't drive on them! Probably of some interest one day - OEM and all that...

Lovely!! scary how much these have increased but true investment.

As above I would be much the same! I also assume it has a luggage tray

For when the link disappears......this is a ph2 in Acid Yellow for sale with 11,300 miles on advertised at £43,995 at Divine Automobiles. Bought for £19,995 by its previous owners in 2005 when only 1 year old (bargain!) it certainly proved a good investment.
Lets hope the next owner doesn't put it back in a barn and not drive it as it's a shame not to spread the Vee love occasionally to the public ;)
James - do you know if it has a plaque number? as there is no mention in the advert it might be one of the non plaque RUK cars?

I wonder what the car could be sold for if it had done 21k miles instead of 11k miles. £25k? £30k? If it is that much less then this is going to be a very expensive car to use.

Add 10k miles to the clock, and each mile would cost you £1.40 in depreciation if it's worth £30k with 21k miles on it!!

If it sells for the money being asked then it's probably destined to sit in a garage for another 10 years.

Its a lovely car and my favourite colour ph2.

The price tag is pretty much what I would suggest insuring it for because....well you just try and replace it for less!!

Its a massive price no doubt (id sell both my vees for the price of that!!), but if it goes for that it will drag all our cars up in value with it, so I hope it sells.

I actually saw this V6 driving back from its major service a few weeks ago just after i picked mine up from the garage.
Serviced by Dryclough Halifax / Rick. We stopped for a chat, theres no doubting its clean however its not worth that much money.
With it never being used, i cant imagine the things on it needing attention. He told me what his cambelt, waterpump and service cost was...put it this way mine was £1505, his was a lot more.
I think a few of these sellers are jumping the gun on the value's right now, maybe in 5 years or so but not yet.

The cars amazing though having said that, one of the cleanest ive ever seen. Guy driving it was really nice and let me get some photo's too. His only request, i didnt get the plate in which is completely understandable.

If I had a spare 25k + my vee id have a serious think about it.
Would probably sooner keep my vee & buy a nice lunar R26.r or 996 C4s instead.

Anyway, stunning car & I hope he gets the asking price.

To put things into perspective I sold my old 34k Acid for 15k in July 2009 [smilie=icon_eek.gif]

The next owner wants it to be that way I believe.
Interesting, so does that mean it has already been sold?

A fair price I would say..........but no mention of fuel filter change, which would be a must do if it has been sitting for a while.

Great price. I had a guess at the price it was going to be advertised at and was over 10k out. Looking back I did undervalue it.

Surely this is a perfect way to make money for a trader... People buy from traders to get a warranty but if you only sell cars that are collectable and low mileage that will probably never get driven the car can't really go wrong if it doesn't move!
