Acid yellow on ebay

Would love that! Some better pictures would probably help with the sale.

Acid yellow
FV05 DPZ
26500 miles
1 owner from new.
£38750

[album]16695[/album]

It's been a while, and the last time it was for sale [v6plaque]290[/v6plaque] was offered for £20K, but £19K would have bought it. Discussed here: Acid Yellow

More than doubled in value in 4 years.............

Don't get me wrong - I'm happy for AYs to valued generously - but I feel it's a bit inconsiderate not to have the car properly prepared for sale.

Interesting to hear you say that Kett. I believe this chap has changed his mind on more than one occasion, so it may be that he is not really looking to sell.......

Lovely motor and yes I get the feeling the owner is not really fussed if he sells or not - which I kind of get.

Daft money for a car that needs paint, some small body repairs, a big service, wheels re-furbishing and probably tyres...that makes it well over £40k !! And you can't even test the car out as it's off the road.

Whats acid yellow like to colour match and stuff?
Cant imagine theres many bodyshops in this country with experience of working with it.
Not like Renault do anything else in that colour is it.
Car looks great, better bet for any collector would be Rick at Dryclough if he ever plans on letting his go.

Looks speculative....especially with the want-list. I would price it like this if i'd told my Mrs I was selling "the silly car" but I didnt really want to sell it lol

It's pretty hard. I had my front bumper resprayed by a reputable company, they did a great job but in some lights you could notice a slight difference in colour.

I remember talking to this guy when he had it for sale originally.

Iirc he messed quite a few people about over the sale. Seemed as though he was testing the water to sell it in the summer when prices would be higher. Think I offered him 18k at the time.

Those pictures are also the ones he used 3 years ago so possibly not a true reflection of current condition.
