abs and brakes

went to pick up my new brakes today and the chap in my local motor factors asked does my car have abs . i dont no how can i tell or doesnt it matter . and how easy is it to just change the rear pads as dicses are fine

Pop your bonnet. If you have a large unit with brake pipes going in and out of it behind the gearbox/battery then you have ABS or slam your brakes on and see if it cuts in? :lol:

Ask the RAC man, but he might tell you , your BE has blown up.
