A quick hello, from Central Scotland

Morning all,

Just to introduce myself - I'm a Clio 182 owner, and I've been reading elsewhere that this is the place to be for information on what will ideally be my next car in 2013.

Look forward to being part of the community in due course!

So, er, hello :)

Welcome to v6Clio.net! simsimsim :approve:

As mentioned.. if you cant find the info you're looking for, just shout! 8)

Thanks folks, will do :)

I'm near Falkirk - main roads are pretty much clear now but there's still enough to cover the grass in my garden, and to make my street particularly slushy which will be interesting if it freezes tonight! Just back from Edinburgh though, and there's no evidence at all of snowfall once you're inside the bypass.

I'm Simoid on Pistonheads if any of you chaps directed me here :salut:

Hello again :welcome:

A light dusting of snow overnight here in Edinburgh and drove through some heavy snow on the way to Inverness over the weekend. Winter has well and truly arrived.

Welcome. It is a great feeling to have deliberated and then finally decided on what should be next. You will not be disappointed with a Vee I'm sure. Only other V6 I looked at in 2005, when I bought mine, was from a bloke in Falkirk. Met him at the "Falkirk Wheel".

Thanks guys :)

Took me 6 months to find a 182, ended up buying one from a guy 3 miles from my house. If you fancy a sweepstake on purchase date of my V6 - fire away!

This could be an interesting one... whats your criteria? colour, age, milage, budget etc etc... lets take some guesses going.. lol

In fairness, it was more 6 months from deciding "I need a new car" to buying my 182.

It wasn't 26 weeks of purely looking for a 182, honest! ;)

- not overly fussed about colour
- I'll almost certainly be after a 255
- can deal with any mileage really, I'm more fussed about condition and evidence of mechanical care
- I'm not too fussed/anal about the odd stone chip/scratch as long as the car is obviously cared for underneath

Budget is flexible for the right car, what do the minters go for these days?
