8kg weight loss !!

Just had Spikes exhaust fitted to my V6.
It now sounds awesome to match the looks of the car !
I asked my mechanic to weigh both my old standard and my new
Spike exhaust !? I've lost 8kgs by changing the exhaust !
Great sound and great weight saving !!
But to save hassle of matching and obtaining gaskets ! Janspeed should of supplied gaskets I think !
Otherwise it's a brilliant upgrade to my V6
Very happy
Thanks to Spike
And to Nas for giving me the Nod it was fantastic.

It is subtle rather than loud but I just revved it down a dual carriageway and I think it is perfect tone ! Not chavy in the slightest.
Just really nice aggressive subtle tone !
Really happy with it, it's perfect for my needs and where I live.
Hope you like yours when it on.
It suits the car perfectly I think !?

Pleasure mate :) Standard was too quiet. Spike's exhaust is perfect. Not stupid loud just right.

I'm yet to be convinced, can somebody clarify on this lining up issues/gaskets etc? Janspeed seem to be a bunch of cowboys these days!

Another question for Spike !?

All V6's are a little jerky I understand and people have re-mapped etc. !?
Mine was not bad but in the 30 miles I've driven it with the new "spike box" it has definitely caused three benefits !!

1) it is faster !
2) it is much smoother (on and off throttle)
3) it burbles and pops a bit and has a nice bark as well

nas did say the more he drove his, the noisier it got so you can look forwards to that!

mine will never get noisy

thanks again guys,
i think they should get a little loader as they settle due to the centre being packed with coarse wire wool, as for faster, yes it should be, a, for the weight loss and b, for the fact it made 10 bhp on average through the range. 10 brake is no big deal but for free without engine mods its ok, it will still be no where near 255 though. :violin:
