I'm edging my bets here, but I would think it is inevitable that the club will see 500 members, as soon as peoples memberships run out in other clubs, why on earth would you want to pay for something that can be had for nothing???

100% agree there Andy. I think the acceleration of the numbers has been due to this , but more and more memberships will expire on other clubs.

Maybe a member who logs on regularly and not just registered to have a look. I've done that with loads of sites because of problems with other cars( golfs)
