Hello Folks,
This is an exploratory post to gauge interest. The East Coast Pirates start their
Wednesday Evening meets from 4th July at the Joyland American Diner in
Great Yarmouth. From the end of July, there's a fireworks show on from 10pm.
So guys, how many cars can we muster to join them on Wednesday 30th July?
Please spread the word as much as you can; doesn't have to be turbo powered,
so this includes Twingo, Clio and Megane cars with a RenaultSport badge. I do
need to have a fairly firm idea of numbers to arrange this with ECP. If we can
muster more than 10 cars, then I'll make enquiries for our own event, probably
on Thursday 31st July. The Diner owner is a car nut and would probably let us
reserve an area of his private car park.
Apart from the cars, the food served at the Diner is purty darned good and
also good value for money! So, it's bring the missus if you wanna. You're also
welcome if you want to come for the nosh and fireworks but not display your
transport on site. Though the point is to bring something to display if you can...
Cut off date for this exploration - in other words whether or not we achieve
the numbers - is Sunday 29 June 2014...
Regards,
Steve
