Hi,

Can anybody help me l,m thinking of changing my current car (Mk2 Espace, but fitted with a 21 turbo engine) for a 21 Turbo. Does anyone know of any that are for sale, any phase considered. Ideally it must have service history, decent length of MOT, can be modified, anything considered.

There's 3 for sale in this weeks Autotrader, 2 of them have got the piccies shown, and there's also 1 in the Retro Car Magazine thats just came out, i dont know if any of them are 21toc Members cars if thats any help to you ???

1988, E reg, 71,300 miles, white, PAS, ABS, alloys, black leather, CL, EW, EM, towbar, fsh, vgc, 1 owner, 12 mths MOT, very quick, clean car, ?795.

If you are interested - or if anyone else is, come to that, please reply. It belongs to my father and I can vouch that it is as described. He has just advertised it elsewhere and has already had a good degree of interest in it.

However, I suggested he try to sell it to an enthusiast because, being a classic car owner myself (hence the username!), I know it's sad when an old car ends up on the scrapheap just because no one can match up the seller with a keen buyer who will keep it running.

Re 21 Turbo wanted....

Hiya Kerry, I have a Nov '92 K reg Ph3 in red for sale.
Its covered 128k miles, has had 2 previous owners (last one for 5 years), FSH, completely standard unmolested example with all the paperwork
Also has the factory fitted alarm/immobilizer system.
Will have 12 months MOT when sold (going in soon as current certificate has expired)

Espace Turbo...

Whilst out working the other night, I was in Eltham and guess what I stumbled upon? An Espace with an intercooler hanging out the bumper, look closer and yep its a 21Turbo'd Espace.......not vgc in met Blue, but all the rear seats had been removed and just 2 21 fronts were fitted.

Ironically, the guy whose house it was outside had a DB7, Mini Cooper S and a yellow DB8 on order. Needless to say it wasnt his, it belongs to his 'RenaultMad' neighbour opposite. Ive worked out who his neighbour is now....anyway im rambling on, good luck Kerry with your search.

He lives in Hampshire actually - very near the border with Surrey but not near enough to call it Walton-on-Thames! As for when it was registered, sorry, no idea exactly, but I guess he bought it new July-ish 1988.
