2001 clio crank sensor

Hi guys just a quick one regarding the crank sensors for the clio..is it a simple plug and play job or more to it?

Cheers

Sweet mate said he had picked one up from gsf and swapped it over but wouldn't fire up so he cleaned the old one and fitted that and hey presto it fired...

Might pop over later tonight to see what the issue was..is it possible that it was fitted incorrectly?

Can;t see how it could be fitted wrong but you never know!

The crank sensors are a classic failure point on them. A good clean often does do the trick without replacing though!

Yeah he said it had intermittent starting issues neal, so was advised to change it after doing so he said it was just turning over..just wandering as it was aftermarket if it would require the loom to it aswell?
