So finally took collection of my V (phW no.140) today and joy of joy it was chucking it down so now the best of driving experiances...

I've driving a few V's but only in the dry, and only ever heard stories of what they're like in the rain. I'll be honest I thought it was a bit of an exageration, turns out its not. Does wnyone have any idea how to get the car to perform better in wet?? Don't know if it just requires better tyres or what....

Also something I haven't ever noticed before untill today and after a long drive. The cabin can get rather warm (which I assume is due to where the engine is). Does other V owners have this too??

Good to see another owner.

Ph1s are said to be a bit warm inside. In my experience, opening a window made things worse. Tyres with as much tread as possible helps keep you facing the right way.

Horrid cars to drive in the rain mate,

Tramlining, aqua planing wandering and general 2 hands on the wheel at all times is essential!

In the dry they are a much better animal and I find pretty hard to unstick!

Yeah well being as it rains a lot in Scotland, taking up sailing. May not b a bad idea to help with the V haha

Cheers guys!
