£19,500 for a mk2 illiad with 33k miles

Properly priced well looked after example. I hope he gets £19k as this might cheer up those concerned about resale values.

hes confident with that price! would stand a better chance with some better pictures i think, not keen on still seeing shampoo all over the car.

ive seen some vids of the car on youtube:

he claimed it was putting out around 300bhp, but these comments seem to of since been removed.

I'm sorry but he has no chance unless someone with more money than sense passes by his house and hands over the asking price without bothering to look at the competition.

His car for £19k or Derek's for £12k? Hmmmmmm, tough one :)

this is the price they should be and should be going up due to the limited numbers or is that just wish full thinking

I think they will pick up eventually, but it will be incremental. This car simply will not sell at that price IMO. Fair play to him though, he's put it up at the price he values it at and you just never know what might happen.

I'm sure most people though would opt for the LY on Pistonheads which has covered just 9k miles and is up for similar money.

Maybe we should all make a club pact to not sell our vees below 18k from now on! Keep em high that's what I say.

Not sure who would pay extra for his personal plate though!

If only this was the case, I might put my vee up for sale for £20k even though I dont want to sell it, it'd be a no lose situation. :)

£19.5k would do me very nicely for mine ... since I reckon less than £2k depreciation in approaching 5 years is a bargain ;).

No test drives, don't even bother coming to look at the car without proof of funds to purchase.

So you need to bring a bank statement if you want a test drive

I cant help reading that advertisment without thinking that the guy has a really good sense of humour :)
