    Small update.
I thought it's about time to start doing some jobs, so I pulled her out the garage where she hasn't moved since the day I got her. I did an oil and fliter change and also turned her over by hand. Which seemed OK ,at least it wasn't seized.
The wiring loom has turned up along with a few other bits.

Starting to look forward to this project now. Cheers for reading.

That's the air filter. Most of the cup cars ran a set up like that back in the day but over the years people changed them. My old one was the same and Big Steve's also.

We had a real early start Saturday as we had no idea what the day was going to bring. First was to strip all the old wiring out of the engine bay as this was a complete mess.
    IMG_20151114_094806683.jpg
Many bits had melted and some had been on fire at some point in its life.
    IMG_20151114_081111449.jpg
The new wiring loom went back in and we didn't no what to expect. Turned the key and nothing, no lights on the dash. But that turned out to be the bulbs, they were all knackered.
The fuel pump wouldn't work for some reason at the start so that was taken off and connected to a battery. she then started to work.
So the old petrol which was probably 10 years old was replaced with fresh new stuff.
    Then this happened.

The old MAC started and ran very well. :clapping.gif:Engine sounds very quiet and smooth. All lights and indicators work which was a surprise.
I took her for a quick spin and all felt good.
I've got a few bits to tidy up and a new list of bits which I need.
Well chuffed with how it turned out tho
    Thanks for reading.:af:

You let @Big Steve - Raider@Big Steve - Raider near the carb ? first wrong side for the mixture screw , then trying to turn it anticlockwise with something that would be more suitable for starting a car ferry ?
