    The Spongebob Movie.

MUCH DISAPPOINT. Even the kids thought it was piffle. 2/10

    Kingsmen: The Secret Service.

Not bad, really good action, the Church scene was flipping brilliant. Very cheesy though, lots of groan moments, but the violence makes up for it. 7/10

Kingsman - Much better than I anticipated, old style Bond crossed with The Spy who Shagged Me, with some gratuitous violence thrown in for good measure. Church scene was very good - almost Tarentinoesque :0). 7/10
Jurassic World - I really wanted to see this as (like most men of my age) Dinosaurs hold a deep affection for me from my childhood. Loved the original, the others are OK. Thought the first half of the film was very slow and drab. I'm surprised how many films manage to fall at the first hurdle, which for me is creating that empathy with the main characters. If you don't get that bond with the members of the cast, in this case the Aunt and the 2 brothers, then you don't care what happens to them which means you never really get that edge of the seat feeling. After 20 minutes I just hoped all the main characters got eaten by a dinosaur as quickly as possible :0). Saying that, Chris Pratts character rescued it somewhat and although predictable I enjoyed the film once the action started, the CGI was excellently rendered, the Dinosaurs as realistic as you could have hoped for. This saved it for me - 1st half - 3/10 2nd half 8/10.

No films lately for me, engrossed in Game of Thrones Season 5. Seems a bit slower than normal, though I hear tell of the finale being pretty epic. Great show though. No spoilers please!

I really enjoyed the first couple of seasons of GoT but it seemed to get a bit convoluted in season 3 - too many different sub plots for my money and I lost interest. Need to give it another go really.
One I would seriously recommend to everyone is Ray Donovan - very entertaining with an excellent cast - John Voight, Leiv Schrieber -

    Seen it.

    Absolutely LOVED it.

Brilliant stuff, the nods to the older films were fantastic too, like the fizzy shotgun cartridges and the empty shotgun blag.

Only criticism I have was there was nowhere near enough "last of the" V8 Interceptor.

Fast & The a Furious 7 - Bilge! I'm all for an action movie, but I can't understand how Hollywood now seems to have left all sense of reality at the door. International crime lord flies his armoured chopper around the streets of the U.S. Blowing sh1t up whilst his drone is doing the same?? Really??? :stop.gif:

San Andreas - This movie could also be titled "Worlds largest earthquake seen thru one selfish mans eyes" Again following the same format as Fast & Spurious 7, just a tad over the top..... Especially the part when he has to pilot a boat over the tidal wave... :stop.gif:
