It has been on my mind for many many many years as my earliest childhood memories were in this car and a Renault 11 Turbo which I have another thread asking about.

Does anyone have a guide for how to remove the heat exchanger? I’ve disconnected the hoses, removed centre console and loosened off the dash. I can’t work out how to remove the heat exchanger from its housing though.
For some reason Ive missed owning an old Renault, so I bought one 5 years older than my wife. Sight unseen paid up but not had a chance to collect it. Dunno what the plans are of yet but I'll wait untill it's in the yard before deciding. Heres a load of pictures, and any info, thoughts, insults...

Had the car for about 3 months before it was over 3 seperate times vandalised by some nobbers. Ran perfectly other than n/s wheel bearing was going (bought used drive shaft etc. ready for it from retro-renault forums).
