This will be a short and sweet write up.
This Nitrous Blue Focus RS came fresh from the dealership with 48 miles on the clock, lots of plastic and a few stickers.
Unfortunately there was a little bit of damage on the rear bumper that had been over looked but the dealership were willing to pay...
I thought it would be good to show one of these jobs.
This lovely M140i is 10 months old. The owner had only washed the car a couple of times since picking it up - which played in the car's favor - and brought it in to see what needed to be done to get the car looking fresh and protected.
After...
This is the first car to come in for our New Car Protection Detail under the new 17 Reg.
It's quite a large Mercedes GLS 350d. These things are huge!
The owner wanted to have it protected properly from the start so passed up the dealership's offering and chose Ceramic Pro 9H instead.
This will...
A question for the detailing guru's. I am picking up the wifes brand new car next week, not a Renault I'm afraid. Due to the crappy weather for the next few months, at least, is there any quick protection thats worth applying to the paint and plastics so come spring I can do a proper job on it...
I haven't had much time for write ups lately. I've got a couple to put together.
Here'sa couple of lovely Porsches that were treated to Protection Details last week.
The silver one is a Carrera 4s, the blue a Carrera 2s.
Full write ups of some other cars to come soon :)
A good friend of mine, and small Renault fan (some of you will remember him from Ace Cafe nights and things. Had the ratty black phase 2 GTT and B18FT Campus), came over with his cool Nissan after reading about clay bars and wanting to find out what they do.
We went through the whole safe wash...
Customers wifes car, needing a lot of TLC.
Some bits too severe to recover, but most areas fixed, has had some previous poor respray work, there was even wet sanding marks still visible that had not been sorted after sanding.....couple of areas only had 80 microns of paint left, not much to...
Sorry guys, it's not a Golf...
This R32 Skyline GTR is incredibly solid without a single spec of rust in sight. 100% original and straight panels.
The car has all the Nismo option parts running in N1 spec and tuned to 550BHP. I got to go out on track in it at Silverstone at Jap Fest and I...
Another BMW (sorry), but I thought it'd be nice to share.
The car came in from the Auto Finesse detailer network for a protection package with the owner traveling up from London.
Once the car was cleaned up, there were more and more defects that became apparent.
On arrival...
This is another executive 'super saloon' that come in from the Auto Finesse Authorised Detailer Network for some much needed protection.
I'll jump straight into this one.
The car on arrival.
Wheels up first. I tried out a Sonax wheel cleaner which is pretty handy.
Agitated with a few...
In a few months I will be taking my meg onto track. I have Ds2500 pads on and they seem to be the dustiest pads known to man.
Is there anything I can use to stop the hot dust easting into the paint after a track session ?
These wheels were treated with Gyeon Rim to prvide them with a long term coating which will repel dirt and brake dust. The coating is super hydrophobic which repels water like crazy and make them extremely easy to clean and maintain.
The wheels are new and have only been on the car to see what...
Anybody who has brought a car over the last 15 years or so from a dealership would have been sold paint protection such as scotch guard, diamond brite, guardx etc. ...
Normally from £250-£400.... and its meant to protect the bodywork, interior, glass etc... and tbh it does a good job to the...
I thought I'd put this up to show what you can achieve from a protection package. If you don't want to see this kind of car, just say and I'll leave it to Renaults and more interesting stuff :)
The car came in quite grubby. The interior was stained blue from denim and was feeling a bit worn...
I finally got a day to give my own car some protection for winter... only a couple of months late
It hasn't been washed since The beginning of August when it was wearing a review panel batch of Auto Finesse Essence. The wax had held out pretty well and only really gave up around the beginning...
