On an F series but the question applies to any engine really I guess. What does everyone else here do? I've always put oil/assembly lube under the bolt head and on the threads but I've seen various things that say you shouldn't lube the new bolts.

Hi all, The thread for Bolt number 10 is damaged, I tried helicoil with no luck, can I go oversize to M12? Problem is i need to drill the cylinder head also to allow the bolt to pass through the head... I saw a small water pass underneath, need advise here... Thank you

Hey everyone, me again. :grin.gif: Phase one with missing coolant and smoking like crazy. Quick dry compression test and one was miles out (can't remember off the top of my head now) no obvious signs of mayo, oil still looking clean. Thoughts on a postcard.
