so after not doing much for the last 6 months time to get my gtt ready for summer. so after putting it in for its mot found it has a small leak on the exhaust. so my way round this is to cut off the existing joint have one of these put in with a v band.
[[PLAIN]54mm (2"1/8) x 70mm Universal ILOK Flexi Joint for Exhaust Repair | eBay[/PLAIN] ](https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/54mm-2-1-8-x-70mm-Universal-ILOK-Flexi-Joint-Exhaust-Repair-/112635150027?hash=item1a3993fecb)

so will close up fuly but will i then need to add extra support the exhaust under the car.

so after getting the bits and measuring up ifinally had the section knocked up. As the down pipe was cut back to fit the vband it gives a bit more clearance around the drive shaft

alright matt
been doing little bits to the 5 sort out a few issues for the mot. as for other 5s there is a clean looking campus thats always driving about but that’s it even the one in hazel grove that had not moved for a few years has gone.
