Can you tell me more details ? 20t ? HL body ?

Indeed. I am here to share my knowledge(small), not to hide information, as other makes.
Bigger than 20T with 6+6 blade design, small center and extended tips.
HL turbine shaft, but highflow design and clipped, for raise the hotside flow and decrease backpressure.

    TD04 Compressor wheel sizes:
    14T: 39.5x51mm
    15T: 42x56mm
    18T: 45x58mm
    19T: 46x58mm
    20T: 47x58mm
    RSR: 50.5x65mm

In my opninion the biggest bottle neck on Megane rs is the Turbine housing, is really small. Generating too much backpressure on high revs and EGT. Also the manifold sucks!
We are making now a probe, changing the Housing and manifold for bigger ones single scroll(with the same wheels). I`m sure will see very nice gains and a really race sound.

It´s just my opinion but I hope this help you!

Looks like a nice project! Do you happen to have any pics of the standard rods and pistons?

Very interested in the difference between older (weaker) rods

Thanks mate. Yes I will try to post tomorrow pics. The pistons are also a big diference from the mk2.

Wow, those OE rods look pathetic, no wonder they bend at 300lb torque! The new ones are much better :) @andybond@andybond you need some!

Well, they don't.... These are Megane 3rs rods which are stronger... Funny thing to note though, i have pics of 225 rods which look exactly the same.

I had a discussion with Andybond before regarding 225 and 172 rods, it seems early 225's had beefier rods then the later ones which appear to be the same as 172 rods.

Sorry for the off-topic RSRacing, hope you don't mind!

Are you sure theyre OE on the left Andy? They look like aftermarket I section rods with ARP bolts.
