I'll be well happy if I can get that power out of the 172 lump going in my 8. Its on Adaptronic I assume?

Isn't it piggyback over the OE ECU so you get to keep the FBW throttle? Interested in this, it's what I will do if I supercharge mine, which considering I was looking for chargers on the web yesterday, seems likely lol

Yeah it does, the OE ECU stays to retain features such as cruise control and keep all the dash lights off. Scoff has also tweaked the firmware on the stock ECU to improve the throttle response on the fly by wire.

There's a lad interested in my 02m conversion but already has a rebuild, strengthened jc5 with quaiffe which he's probably going to sell, best upgrade you could do ;)

Yep, most TDO's have deals on if you block-book a number of trackdays with them.

Or simply shop around & book your fave circuits with the cheapest organiser(s).

Interested too! I can get my hands on a kit for a reasonable price but it's the 30-94, way too big for a low boost setup!

I've never understood the restrictor usage on chargers though, why not fit a bigger pulley so the revs on the charger go down? Now you're robbing power from the crank which you are restricting afterwards....
