My GTA Daily Driver project is well documented on RAOC, its not a turbo but thought a few of you might be interested in the latest stage. The car was a very shabby, slightly damaged shed when I got it about 5 years ago. Was very solid though. Has been fully repaired and painted and the rear transaxle completely overhauled, a low mileage engine from a Espace 2.9i was fitted with a turbo fuel system. Loads of other new parts , calipers, discs, radiator , alternator , starter motor. The engine bay always let the side down , the wiring being a right old state and the lump, not pretty at the best of times looking old , oily and dirty - even though it ran a treat. Stripped out the top end of the engine and have had the inlet manifold and fuel rails vapour blasted and the rocker covers and plenum shotblasted and powder coated. Should look a million dollars better once fitted :0).

Fuel injectors being ultrasonically cleaned and have a new induction kit to fit so should run better than ever too.

Cleen Machinz in Penge, really nice quality work, they do zinc and pas plating too for all your nuts and bolts so they never rust :0)

That's handy because they were supposed to be Tungsten grey!

Been chipping away with an hour here and there of fitting the new shiny bits, painting brackets, looming wiring, polishing bolts etc. Rerouted the induction to the other side so I can cool the alternator and starter motor better. Made up an induction kit from an old GTA Turbo air box pipe and a Viper induction kit I had spare. I think its come out pretty well, and should feed efficiently. Its not until you look at before and after pics that you can see how much improvement there is!

Initial installation with rocker covers and inlet manifold removed
