    Looks fantastic,

Just can't beat fresh paint can you!?

And you can bet with modern paints, it looks better now than it did when it ran off the production line!!
You must be pleased with the result?

    Awesome, I love it!

    Hi all

Gearbox is leaking around the driveshafts, my mechanic says it's the driveshaft seals. Is they anywhere in the UK I could find a source?

Do have a German website which sells them but could do with them for this weekend

Car has finally had an mot!!!

Failed on a few minor bits (loose strap on petrol tank, 1 headlight to high, 1 gater ripped)

Drove the car yesterday and it seems low on power, turbo didn't seem to be doing much

Can I boost the turbo? And how?

If you can , perhaps put on the rollers to see what's happening, I went to Peter Burgess whose rates for the time I spent there were very good, charged me £80 for 5 power runs and a carb rejet between each one, a genuine guy with a passion for cars..........

The turbo should definitely do a lot! You should really feel it boost the power after around 3.5k rpm. It should then go like the clappers!
Has the car got the GT Turbo carburettor conversion? Something may not be connected up or there may be a boost leak somewhere. Don't up the boost pressure until you're sure everything else is ok.
I have used driveshafts if you need one.

As Andrew says Darren something isn't correct, have you got the aftermarket boost gauge connected ?
You need to know what's boost its running an adjust actuator accordingly,
I wouldn't recommend anything over 10 psi for now until engine is run in ,
Then you may have potential for Upto 13 or 14 psi as long as the carb is able to fuel that correctly so you will need to go to the guy mark suggested or at least call him and ask if he is able to cater for the solex 32dis carb that you have!
He needs to know the carb really.
Or most def what he's doing.
Too much boost without carb fueling correct will kill the engine in no time
11 psi - around 150 bhp or I think 130 at wheels which is plenty and you will most definitely know about

£80 seems cheap is that because you no him?

    Andrew/rich
I'm Thinking that something maybe connected wrong or not connected at all, when I get the car back I'll take a few pictures for you to have a look

That was the price he charged, I went back and checked again, if I was honest I was ready to hand over twice that amount. he is defo a carb guy, not a fuel injection or modern set ups.

My carb could still do with further fettling, but that'st due to I'm running a different carb and cam, but I'm happy where it is right now rather than risk running the current set up, here was the previous recommendation...
